This blog will chart the path of discovery and reflection as I delve into the world of social software. What is social media, what are it’s uses and how can I and my employers use it to best represent and communicate our ideas and beliefs? Through blogging I will enter these conversations and weigh in on what’s being said, by whom and to what ends. I’ll also be trying out  forms of social software that are new to me and sharing those experiences whether successful or not.

As a current Master of Library and Information Science student at the University of Western Ontario, I hope one day to be the sort of memorable librarian who inspires patrons to read, ask and discover-for FUN! I love researching and learning new ideas and possibilities and my passion is connecting people with opportunities to follow their dreams.
